Breville Oracle Touch vs Jura Z6 is such a tough debate that it gives me a hard time researching. But after all considerations, I can tell you that Breville Oracle Touch is the absolute winner.
The winner Breville is a super-automatic machine that offers optimum coffee flavor. It controls the temperature precisely and comes with an efficient warming tray. Also, there are a lot of options to personalize the drinks. The design is sturdy and modern as well. I recommend this machine to both beginners and baristas.
As for the Jura Z6, I enjoy the side water tank that can be removed with ease and the variable personalization of temperature, milk texture, etc. However, it can’t beat the well-rounded design of Breville Oracle, in my opinion.

Breville Oracle Touch vs Jura Z6: Differences
Breville Oracle Touch‘s optimal features help this model wins 3 to 1 vs Jura Z6. Overall I find it better at brewing espresso since the machine can maintain the right high temperature and its design is more sturdy. Find out more details below.
cup warming tray
Winner: Breville Oracle Touch
Unlike Jura Z6, the Brevill model is designed with a potent cup warming tray, which is placed next to the bean hopper on top of the machine. The tray warms the cup efficiently so you can keep the coffee temperature for a longer time. However, it can get scalding hot if you leave the cups on the tray for too long. So I suggest that you warm the cup for about 2-3 minutes only.
As for the Jura Z6 model, the brand should have incorporated a warming tray into this model since it is not famous for its ability to produce high heat espresso.
Precision of Temperature
Winner: Breville Oracle Touch
With the Oracle Touch I have never had problems with temperature control. I bought the machine about 3 months ago and I have pulled around 150 shots (i brew daily but I have to test other espresso makers, too), and never did I have to drink cool-to-warm coffee. The PID technology must be the mastermind after these impressive results.
The taste of the coffee is extracted beautifully thanks to the consistent water temperature and pressure. I would describe it as balanced, nuanced and sometimes strong.
I was hesitant to test Jura Z6 after reading many reviews and doing my research, given that buyers before me have said that it doesn’t heat the water hot enough resulting in cool coffee. I bought the machine anyway and until this moment it seems that it is a common problem of this product line. I experienced the same issue with the water temperature.
Even though it comes in 3 settings for brewing and 10 settings for milk-steaming, I can’t really achieve the ideal coffee’s warmth that I look for, which is about 195F right after coming out of the tap. The results usually range from 160 to 165F with this machine. As for the steam wand, it doesn’t go higher than 125F when it steam milk, so I have to drink quickly.
Position of water tank
Winner: Jura Z6
I adore the way Jura designs the position of the water in this product line. You can find it on the side of the machine which is very convenient since you don’t have to save space in order to remove the water reservoir. You can refill the tank with or without removing it.
II like the blue light effect since it gives the machine a more futuristic look, and I can quickly see how much water is in the tank.
As for the Breville, it has a standard water tank located at the back of the machine. You will need a spacious kitchen counter with an open pack since the tank of this model can only be pulled out horizontally.
But, with its 84oz capacity, you won’t have to refill frequently. Also, you can visualize the water level at the front.
Design
Winner: Breville Oracle Touch
First, I want to highlight that both models have wonderful designs. They both look sleek, modern and durable. However, I still prefer the Breville to the Jura since the body of this machine is made almost entirely of stainless steel. The overall look is very sturdy and luxurious as well.
We all know that the Breville Oracle Touch is much heavier than the Jura Z6, but there is a catch here. With the Oracle Touch, you can remove the drip tray and find a knob under it. By turning this knob, you are unlocking a wheel with which you can move the machine around on a smooth surface easily. So the weight of this coffee maker shouldn’t be a problem.
As for the Jura model, I love the fact that the front and the top of the machine are made of aluminum, which is considerably lighter than stainless steel. This material is very durable as well.
However, the back and the sides of the machine is covered in plastic, which is not what I expect from machines in this price range. For 3000$, you should get an espresso maker crafted with stainless steel or aluminum entirely.
Breville Oracle Touch vs Jura Z6: Similarities
These models are very distinctive but they share some similar features, such as giant water tanks and various options for personalization. With these, you can decide for yourself which is the final winner between Breville Oracle Touch vs Jura Z6.
Easy Operation With Great lots of Control over personalization
Both models are super-automatic machines that will do every step for you, they grind coffee beans, pour them into the portafilter, tamp the puck, brew it, and pour espresso in the cups for you while controlling the volume.
You can change the water temperature, steam temperature, grind size, coffee strength, milk texture, etc. The espresso makers can memorize some drinks that you set up as well. So the next time you want to brew an exact cup, simply press the button, and there you have it!
Giant Water Tank
The Breville features a giant 84oz water reservoir while the Jura comes very close with an 81oz tank. Such capacity ensures that buyers won’t have to refill the tank frequently, especially if they are homeowners, not baristas. If you are looking for a smart at-home espresso maker, why don’t you check these out?
